When in the process of designing and planning events, we make certain that alternative methods and materials are considered to achieve our desired aim of reducing plastic waste and other sustainable practices. Some of these being:

• All timber is sourced from FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) sources.
• We use LED lighting where possible – which draws less power (1/3rd of a ‘normal’ 40W bulb). These products are sourced from reputable companies who share their environmental and sustainability policies and waste journeys in a transparent way, meaning we can be sure their environmental impacts are not impactful to our own.
• We re-use 80% of the materials provided in our production.
• Of the remaining materials, 95% is sent to a genuine recycling facility, and processes such as energy recovery are carried out to ensure we make as minimal impact via landfill as possible.
• Where appropriate, unwanted items e.g., furniture are donated to local charities/local community projects.
• Storage is offered to clients for elements they may want to reuse again for future events.
• We are working with our internal team and clients to achieve our mission of limiting single-use plastic at events, with our eventual goal of eradicating it completely.
• When selecting companies that we work with in our supply chain, we look for the following credentials and continued progression:

  – Quality management and commitment to continual improvement.
• Our office is in a central location so as a team we utilise public transportation to get to work.
